The Environment Agency

The Environment Protection Act 1990  and the Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2011 require that everyone who collects, stores, transports, treats or disposes of waste must take all reasonable steps to ensure that waste is managed properly.

Waste Management Industry Training & Advisory Board (WAMITAB)

WAMITAB has developed qualifications for people working in the recycling industry. All the operators who work in our two waste transfer stations have been trained to Wamitab’s certificate of technical competence (CoTC) standard.

International Standards Organisation  (ISO)

ISO 14001:2004 sets standards for environmental management systems.

ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization meets customer needs, complies with relevant legislation and continually improves its service

Safe Contractor

Safe contractor is a health and safety accreditation scheme. Our membership of this scheme demonstrates that we are fully compliant with best practice in health and safety.
